Christian has worked as the Service center officer in charge of sales, payment collection and customer care at Liquid Telecom for four years.
Christian was born in LIKASI, DRC on 1 February 1988. He graduated from Adventist University of Central and Eastern Africa with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology and Business Administration in 2015.
Christian loves culture and technology and is passionate about ICT. ‘Since our country is evolving in this area, I thought it would be interesting to be part of this revolution through telecommunication,’ Christian says. As a fan of technology, he enjoys the fact that he is constantly exposed to new technology as it comes up. That, he says, is what he enjoys most about his job.
It wasn’t easy to handle clients when he first started work, he confesses, but over time, he has learned to be patient and more attentive to them. The training he has had at work, has helped him.
Christian’s wok day starts at 8.00am with receiving clients with various queries. He takes a break for lunch at 12.30pm and returns to continue attending to clients until 5pm.
To the young person out there interested in getting into a career like his, Christian believes if they are passionate and ambitious they will achieve their goal.
Apart from technology, Christian loves reading, writing and watching documentaries. He can be found at social events such as Spoken Word, Café Litteraire and Jazz concert.
